The 1st Japan.R was held in 2010 in the Institute of Statistical Mathematics's Tachikawa Campus. Since then, it has been the annual event for useRs in Japan and its number of participants has grown from 40 to 200: 2011 (AM, PM), 2012 (AM, PM), 2013, 2014, 2015.
Japan.R 2015 was featured in R-bloggers as The Annual Japanese R user conference "Japan.R 2015". In 2016 we had 24 speakers, followed by other successful years of Japan.R 2017, Japan.R 2018 (read summary in R-bloggers as The JapanR Conference 2018 Round-Up!) and Japan.R 2019.
You can see archived talks on our Youtube channel, Japan.R Channel.
